Flat Roof Materials

Specialists in flat roofing, we offer a choice of flat roof products. Modern versions are much less likely to leak and are better insulated than ever before.

Felt: Some are applied hot, some applied in two or three layers, it remains potentially the cheapest covering but there are several different grades you can specify.  Torch-on felt is still  popular for flat roofs.

If your home does have a poorly fitted flat roof, a replacement will probably be much more cost effective than a repair. Call us today, and ask about a new upgrade. We can replace your flat roof.

Rubber Cover: We can lay a single sheet of rubber cover over your entire flat roof. EPDM rubberised roofing is widely used and a popular product to install.

It comes on cut-to-measure rolls with its own flashing systems.  It is usually bonded to the substrate with adhesive. This material should last at least 30 years.

Firestone, (the manufacturer), is the number one supplier of this product.

Fibreglass: If you need an upgrade, replace your old flat roof with a new Fibreglass roofing surface.

What is GRP?
Fibreglass also called glass-reinforced plastic/polyester, is a fibre reinforced polymer made of a plastic matrix reinforced by fine fibres of glass.

Fibreglass is a lightweight, extremely strong and its a robust material.
